Michael Bazel, MD, QME

Dr. Michael Bazel purchased Bell Medical Center in May of 1998. Since then, he has been running a successful private practice. His goal is to apply his knowledge to giving the best care to his patients. He believes that the best doctor is the one who is able to listen to his patients. Many simply call him “Dr. Michael”.

Dr. Bazel is a graduate of Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Prior to medical school he completed BA degree in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley.

Since medical school, he was trained in Emergency Medicine at King/Drew Los Angeles County Hospital. Since completing his residency, Dr. Bazel has been actively practicing at Bell Medical Center and many Emergency Departments. He is a Diplomate of American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Bazel is fluent in Russian and Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys computers, chess, opera, playing piano, health fitness, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
