His private practice allows Dr. Bazel the luxury of providing his patients with continuous care in a way that his Emergency Medicine practice does not. As the Primary Treating Physician (PTP), Dr. Bazel is able to see the patient from the initial assessment visit, through the many weeks, even months, of treatment, and finally, to a successful discharge.

He has the unique and invaluable ability to evaluate and treat his patients’ injuries in a broad and global manner, and not just as related to a specific area of the body. For example, if a patient has sustained an injury to the knee as a result of a fall, he can also have injury to his chest and then life-long psychological trauma. Dr. Bazel understands how any injury may be related to the patient’s cardiovascular status, psychiatric status, and general overall well-being. Dr. Bazel's team consists of Dr. Sam Bakshian and Dr. Mehrdad Ganjianpour, both of whom are board-certified orthopedists with extensive experience in workers’ compensation and personal injuries, and Dr. Natalia Ratiner, a neurologist with 20 years experience in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. Bell Medical Center is a large facility consisting of two buildings with a total of 5000 square feet with freestanding radiology and physical therapy departments. Dr. Bazel’s PTP reports are concise and done on a timely basis since he does not use outside dictation services but rather, does the reports himself. He is also a certified Qualified Medical Evaluator, approved by the Industrial Medical Counsel to write medical-legal reports.
